Ballance out of second T20I due to mild concussion
Zimbabwe batter Garry Ballance is sitting out the second T20 international match against Ireland at Harare Sports Club this Saturday due to a mild concussion.
He suffered the setback after he was hit on the head by a ball during the first encounter between the two sides on Thursday.
“Ballance was presenting with symptoms of mild concussion and, as a precautionary measure, we recommended that he be rested in order for him to fully recover,” Zimbabwe team doctor Solomon Madzogo said.
Innocent Kaia comes in as his replacement.
