Blockbuster weekend as one-day championship finals happen

Cricket fans are in for a treat when Zimbabwe’s women’s and men’s one-day championship finals take place in Harare this weekend.

 

The blockbuster action will start this Saturday with the Fifty50 Challenge final pitting Alliance Health Eagles Women against Rhinos Women at Old Hararians Sports Club.

 

On Sunday, it will be the men’s turn as Southern Rocks and Mountaineers lock horns in the Pro50 Championship finals.

 

Spectators who are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 will be permitted to watch both finals in person free of charge.

 

The two finals will be streamed live on Zimbabwe Cricket’s YouTube channel and website, while ball-by-ball coverage will also be available on the Zimbabwe Cricket mobile app.

 

Meanwhile, Mountaineers Women will meet Tuskers Women in a Fifty50 Challenge third-place playoff match scheduled for Sunrise Sports Club on Saturday.

 

All matches are set to start at 0930 hours local time.
