FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATION MANAGER
Zimbabwe Cricket is seeking to recruit a Finance and Administration Manager. The individual should be a leader with the ability to implement strategy, solve complex problems and be able to motivate their direct reports.
Overall Job Purpose
The Finance and Administration Manager will lead the day-to-day functions of Zimbabwe Cricket’s financial accounting and administration activities. The Finance and Administration Manager has a responsibility to maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting and financial records in compliance with regulatory requirements and to coordinate a responsive and efficient administration function.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Contribute to strategic direction and policy formulation
- Ensure financial compliance of organisational policies and local regulatory frameworks
- Produce monthly management accounts and year-end accounts in accordance with international accounting standards
- Participate in the formulation and compilation of divisional and departmental budgets for all to facilitate adequate planning, ensuring that variances are kept to an acceptable minimum
- Ensure that internal financial control systems are in place
- Supervise all accounting functions
- Ensure that the department has appropriate risk systems
- Liaise with the internal and external auditors
- Ensure adequate and efficient administrative processes are in place to support operations
Qualifications and Experience
- First degree in Accounting from a recognised institution
- CA, ACCA or CIMA
- A Master of Business Administration degree would be an added advantage
- A minimum of four years of professional experience
- Good computer skills including familiarity with financial software packages, particularly SAGE, Microsoft Word and Excel
